Will you be our new Team Leader? You feel right at home among automated cranes, Automated Guided Vehicles, and racking systems. Whether it involves electrical engineering, (precision) mechanical engineering, or pneumatics, you can find all forms at PRIMARK. You will work with automated pallet cranes, AGVs, sensors, scanners, weighing systems, roller conveyors, conveyors, and shuttles, for which you coordinate daily maintenance activities as well as troubleshoot malfunctions.

A PRIMARK® distribution center spanning over 30,000 m² is located in Roosendaal. From this distribution center, France, Spain, and Italy are supplied with trendy clothing. In 2020, SSI SCHÄFER built the complete logistics setup in the DC and performs maintenance on, among other things, Automated Guided Vehicles, automated cranes, a monorail system, and pallet transport systems. In 2026, this was further expanded to include nearly 500 Flexi shuttles, among other things. If you come to work here, you will therefore be working with state-of-the-art technology. As Maintenance Team Leader, you will be the point of contact for daily operations for PRIMARK and logistics partner GXO, ensuring optimal collaboration both internally and with the other companies in the distribution center. You will coach and guide the employees (5 in total) in your team.

You hold regular consultations with colleagues and the client to align various processes. You also contribute ideas regarding new developments and potential areas for improvement in the technical processes. Additionally, you prepare reports concerning the technical condition of the installation, maintenance, and maintenance plans. If you identify opportunities for improvement, you share these with your manager and colleagues.

Your working days will naturally vary; every day is different, and depending on how busy it is, there is more time for preventive maintenance on one day than on another. But you will certainly be occupied with these activities:

• You are the point of contact for the day-to-day operations of our client PRIMARK and their suppliers to ensure optimal collaboration.
• You have regular consultations with the various parties working in the distribution center to align the different processes.
• You ensure that the technical logistics process runs smoothly.
• You contribute ideas regarding new developments and potential areas for improvement in the technical processes.
• You prepare reports for the handover to other shifts and your manager, for example regarding the technical condition of the equipment, maintenance, and maintenance plans.
• You follow all developments at the location and share this with your team and colleagues.

• A permanent position at SSI SCHÄFER
• A salary of €4,200 - €4,700 per month, plus a 30% shift allowance, depending on experience and education.
• You will be working in a 5-shift system.
• A full-time position where you work an average of 34 hours per week due to the shift system, excluding a few return days.
• Travel allowance €0.23 per kilometer (max. 50 km one-way)
• Metalektro CLA (including 27 vacation days, pension in the CLA)
• A thorough onboarding process with training for the various installations

• You possess an MBO level of work and thinking.
• You have at least 5 years of work experience in a technical environment.
• You can manage well in Dutch and English.
• You can coach and motivate employees
• You are approachable and excellent at aligning the interests of employees, managers, and other stakeholders.
• It is an advantage if you hold one or more of these certificates: VCA/RAMS/Low Voltage/NEN 3140
