SSI SCHAEFER BENE

SSI SCHAEFER BENE is a cooperation between the countries of Belgium and the Netherlands. As the most popular logistics hotspot in Europe, both countries have joined forces and with our expertise we enable our customers to achieve better business performance through intelligent processes. Our Dutch office is located in Oosterhout (Gld.) and our Belgian office is in Mechelen.

The BENE Team

The BENE team has grown continuously in recent years and our offices are now home to Sales, Solutions Design Engineering Group, Project Management, Customer Service and Support, IT Department, and Administrative Support.

Among our competencies in BENE, we have design engineers, who work with customers to create individual warehouse solutions that contribute to operational efficiency. Our experienced project realization team is always, together with the SSI SCHÄFER assembly group, on-site to ensure projects and the installation process run seamlessly.

Our local team of IT specialists is responsible for providing IT support for projects and services - from PLC programming to the integration of WMS (WAMAS). Our local Customer and Service Support teams can take care of all customer logistics needs, from 24/7 technical support to everyday queries.

Having all departments and competencies under one local roof enables SSI SCHAEFER to react quickly and implement changes for our customers.

Why would you like to work at SSI SCHAEFER?

Despite being so big internationally, locally we are a relatively small organisation where people know each other and where it is important to us that everyone enjoys working. We are open to tips and advice and if you have a good idea, it will be listened to. At SSI SCHAEFER, not everything has been worked out in detail yet, which can be difficult at times, but it also gives you a lot of opportunities to determine what your job will look like. You can continuously develop within our organisation, nationally, regionally and internationally (if you wish). We have an online training platform and you can take additional training courses on an individual basis.

Working in the RM team

As an RM team member, you will be working with new, clean equipment. You will be working with state-of-the-art technology in an industry that is growing and where employees will only continue to increase. Another advantage is that the technique is learnable. If you have less experience or education that does not quite fit, then we always look at what you can do.

How we teach someone the techniques is very important to us, so there is always an extensive training program. You will work in shifts together with different people and be on location at the customer. We think it is important to have a balanced team so that there is a good balance between peaking at breakdowns and relaxing at maintenance work.

For Bol.com, you'll be working in one of the largest DCs in Europe, so that's pretty impressive and nice to have on your CV. When you work in the RM team you will quickly notice that we are constantly optimizing. This requires assertiveness and flexibility from our people. But also gives you the opportunity to learn a lot while working.

As an RM team member, you work in a friendly team with a very diverse background. In Roosendaal, Dutch is the working language and in Waalwijk English is the working language because we have people working there from all over the world.

In both cases, working in shifts means that you don't have to work overtime a lot, because you can hand over your work to the next person.

The application process

  • After your online application, we will contact you within one week.
  • If your background matches one of our vacancies, we will contact you by phone to get to know you briefly. We will discuss the vacancy and the terms of employment so that we both know if this is a good fit.
  • After we have spoken over the phone and both come to the conclusion that the position suits you, we will invite you for a personal introduction.
  • Are you enthusiastic? And are we enthusiastic too, then we offer you a contract.
  • If you do not qualify for the position now, but we think there may be opportunities in the future, we will of course let you know.
