PRIMARK® has built a distribution center with a surface area of over 30,000 m². From Roosendaal, all PRIMARK® stores in Southwest Europe are supplied with the latest fashion trends. The automated part of the distribution center in Roosendaal became operational in January 2020 and started with 20-meter-high automated cranes, AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles), a monorail system, pallet transport systems, WMS software, and a fully equipped workshop. Over the past year, it has been expanded with, among other things, the installation of nearly 500 Flexi shuttles.

The team is also expanding; we are growing from 12 to a team of 37 employees. As Resident Maintenance Manager, you will directly manage the 5 Team Leads and the Maintenance Supervisor. You will focus on daily operational activities, with an emphasis on customer satisfaction, safety, productivity, and employee satisfaction. What will you do as a Resident Maintenance Manager:

• You lead the on-site team at PRIMARK®'s automated distribution center. The team consists of 30 maintenance technicians, 5 of whom work the day shift and the remainder in a 5-shift system, 5 team leads, and 1 maintenance supervisor. Additionally, you are supported by HR and HSE from the Customer Service department of SSI SCHÄFER Netherlands, among others.
• You monitor the budget and the achievement of operational objectives and provide input for improvements.
• You draw up and execute a maintenance plan to ensure the functionality of the system remains guaranteed. You organize preventive maintenance and monitor that ad-hoc maintenance is performed to guarantee the output for the customer.
• You are the point of contact for the customer, ensuring good, close cooperation and clear communication.
• You are responsible for reporting, provide periodic KPI statistics and trend analyses, and thereby ensure that production and maintenance performance is measurable and traceable.
• You oversee staffing and ensure that employees can attend necessary training.

Who are you:

• You possess a higher professional education (HBO) level of work and thinking and have completed a technical education, for example in the field of: electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or technical business administration.
• You have at least 5 years of experience managing within a technical environment.
• You are a people manager, you coach and manage the team, and ensure a pleasant working environment.
• You have experience with budgeting and knowledge of financial principles.
• You have a strong sense of responsibility and feel at home in a dynamic customer environment.
• You are a strong communicator and are able to communicate easily at different levels.
• You ensure a good balance between the interests of the client and the interests of SSI SCHÄFER.
• You know how to balance the interests of the team with the interests of the organization.
• You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written.
