Job description

Are you ready for a challenging role as a Software Developer in a dynamic and international environment? We're looking for an enthusiastic professional to help us develop and maintain our Warehouse Management System (WAMAS®), the beating heart of our customers' automated intralogistics processes.

At SSI SCHAEFER, you're not just a developer; you'll be part of a team of IT professionals in the Netherlands, which is part of a larger international team of more than 20 developers in countries like Denmark, Belgium, and the United Kingdom. Worldwide, there are more than 1,000 IT specialists who provide clients with the right software.

What will you do as a Software Developer?
In this role, you'll primarily work on the MFS (Material Flow System) layer of our WAMAS® system. You'll have the opportunity to work on various versions of our system, each tailored to the specific needs of our customers in different countries. You'll also encounter a wide range of business processes, ranging from relatively simple to highly complex. This offers an exciting and diverse challenge where you can hone not only your technical skills but also your problem-solving skills and understanding of business processes. And are you curious about who our customers are? They're A-brands like Bol, PRIMARK, Karlsberg, and Marks & Spencer.

As part of our regional team, you'll focus on managing change requests for our clients. You'll analyze client requirements, design, test, and implement appropriate solutions. This means you possess both technical knowledge and strong communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with clients, other developers, software testers, and logistics consultants. You'll work on projects for leading brands such as Bol.com, Karlsberg, and Marks & Spencer.
