On behalf of bol.com, Waalwijk has one of the largest E-commerce Fulfillment Centers in Europe. SSI SCHAEFER takes care of the complete logistics setup here. In order for the logistics system to function optimally, we are looking for an Engineer maintenance. An average of 40,000 parcels are sent per hour at bol.com every day. In order to optimally handle the demand and diversity of the products, SSI SCHAEFER has set up a smart and innovative intralogistics system. About 2,000 shuttles run between the 30-meter high racks and there is more than 30 kilometers of conveyor system. All this is controlled by a state-of-the-art software system. You can make excellent use of your experience in technical maintenance here.

As an Engineer maintenance you go for the best result. You are at home in (fine) mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and pneumatics. Whether it concerns sensors, scanners, weighing systems, roller conveyors, belt conveyors or shuttles, you ensure that everything is always available. You solve the malfunctions and ensure that they no longer occur. Therefore you perform analyses to find out the cause of malfunctions or any defective parts. You and your colleagues are involved every day with the maintenance of the complete logistics system. You are proactive and identify areas that can be improved. In short, you ensure that bol.com customers receive their packages at home on time.

In Waalwijk staat namens bol.com een van de grootste E-commerce Fullfilment Centers van Europa. SSI SCHÄFER zorgt hier voor de complete logistieke inrichting. Om het logistieke systeem optimaal te laten functioneren, zijn we op zoek naar een Monteur Onderhoud & Service. Dagelijks worden er per uur gemiddeld 40.000 pakketjes verstuurd bij bol.com. Om de vraag en diversiteit van de producten optimaal te verwerken, richt SSI SCHÄFER een slim en innovatief intralogistiek systeem in. Tussen de 30 meter hoge stellingen rijden zo’n 2.000 shuttles en ligt er ruim 30 kilometer conveyor systeem. Dit alles wordt aangestuurd door een state-of-the-art software systeem. Jij kan hier je ervaring in het technisch onderhoud uitstekend gebruiken.

A permanent position at SSI SCHAEFER
€ 3,600 - € 4,900 per month (shift-allowance included) based on 38 hours per week
You work in a 5-shift system according the the 2-2-1 schedule, so you have 2 whole weekends off, during the cycle
Travel allowance € 0.21 per kilometer (max. 50 km one way)
A job in the Collective Labor Agreement Metalektro (27 vacation days, pension in the Collective Labor Agreement and a training day)

You have a technical diploma at MBO level, or you have work experience at MBO level
You have some experience in performing maintenance work and solving malfunctions on technically high-quality equipment

You are aware of safety aspects
