On behalf of bol.com, Waalwijk has one of the largest E-commerce Fulfillment Centers in Europe. SSI SCHAEFER takes care of the complete logistics setup here. In order for the logistics system to function optimally, we are looking for an Engineer maintenance. An average of 40,000 parcels are sent per hour at bol.com every day. In order to optimally handle the demand and diversity of the products, SSI SCHAEFER has set up a smart and innovative intralogistics system. About 2,000 shuttles run between the 30-meter high racks and there is more than 30 kilometers of conveyor system. All this is controlled by a state-of-the-art software system. Job description

As an Engineer maintenance you go for the best result. You are at home in (fine) mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and pneumatics. Whether it concerns sensors, scanners, weighing systems, roller conveyors, belt conveyors or shuttles, you ensure that everything is always available. You solve the malfunctions and ensure that they no longer occur. Therefore you perform analyses to find out the cause of malfunctions or any defective parts. You and your colleagues are involved every day with the maintenance of the complete logistics system. You are proactive and identify areas that can be improved. In short, you ensure that bol.com customers receive their packages at home on time.

Offer

A permanent position at SSI SCHAEFER
€ 2,800 - € 3,800 per month based on 38 hours per week
Surcharge of 30% on your salary due to the 5-shift system
You work in the 2-2-1 system, so you have 2 whole weekends off, during the cycle
Travel allowance € 0.21 per kilometer (max. 50 km one way)
A job in the Collective Labor Agreement Metalektro (27 vacation days, pension in the Collective Labor Agreement and a training day)

Requirements

You have a technical diploma at MBO level, or you have work experience at MBO level
You have some experience in performing maintenance work and solving malfunctions on technically high-quality equipment
You are flexible, eager to learn and creative in coming up with solutions
You are aware of safety aspects
It is a plus if you have one or more of these certificates: VCA/RAMS/Low voltage/NEN 3140
You are eager to learn and want to get to know new systems and techniques
