One of the largest E-commerce Fullfilment Centres in Europe is located in Waalwijk on behalf of bol.com. SSI SCHAEFER takes care of the complete logistics equipment here. To ensure that the heart of the logistics system functions optimally, we are looking for a Junior Maintenance Mechanic. An average of 40,000 packages are sent every hour at bol.com every day. To handle the demand and diversity of products optimally, SSI SCHAEFER sets up a clever and innovative intralogistics system. Some 2,000 shuttles drive between the 30-metre high racks and there are more than 40 kilometres of conveyor system. Job description

As a Junior Maintenance Mechanic, you make sure our shuttles work. The shuttles flash through the racks and collect packages. You take care of maintenance and will also solve malfunctions. You are the specialist for our shuttles and together with your colleagues ensure that they are always operational. Of course, you will be given an extensive induction programme to get to know the system properly.
Together with one of the team leaders, you also ensure that our materials warehouse is in order and that new materials are ordered. In short, you ensure that all packages are sent to bol.com customers on time.

Offer

A (permanent) position at SSI SCHAEFER
€ 2,500 - € 3,000 per month on the basis of 38 hours per week
You work the day shift; from Monday to Friday
Travel allowance € 0.19 per kilometre (max. 50 km one way)
A job in the CAO Metalektro (27 holidays, 13 ATV days, pension in the CAO and a training day)
An extensive induction programme so that you have all the knowledge of the equipment you will be maintaining
